UT Dallas has launched a new online community to exclusively serve University alumni. Comets Community is a vibrant, integrated tool for linking with a global community of UTD graduates.

Comets Community is a way to find and reconnect with old friends, network with link-minded individuals and fellow professionals and do good by giving back.
“Comets Community is the social network exclusively for UT Dallas alumni that provides them with an easy way to find and connect with fellow UTD graduates,” said Joseph Tutt, assistant director of volunteer management in the University’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations. “Comets Community is a one-stop-shop for everything UT Dallas – with news about what’s happening on campus, information about alumni events and links to alumni programs and services.”
According to Tutt, Comets Community not only hosts the alumni directory, it also offers loads of features and tools just for UT Dallas graduates. Alumni can also post and share photos and updates, share and find job postings, advertise their business, create groups and more.
“One feature we’re most excited about is mentoring, where alumni can find fellow alumni in their field and easily connect to share tips, give advice and give back to their fellow graduates,” Tutt said.
