Calling All Comets: Become a Giving Day Ambassador

The third annual Comets Giving Day will take place Tuesday, April 2 from 6 a.m. to midnight. The 18-hour event provides UT Dallas alumni and supporters opportunities to support any area of the University via online gifts.

Last year, our supporters generously contributed more than $389,000 from over 2,000 gifts. This year, supporters can join in the action even before Giving Day by becoming Comets Giving Day ambassadors or setting up matching gifts or participation challenges.

Giving Day Ambassadors are crucial in helping generate excitement and motivation before Giving Day. In 2018, ambassador outreach accounted for more than 700 total gifts. Plus, prizes will be awarded to top performing ambassadors for number of gifts raised and dollars raised. Showcase your Giving Day gusto by downloading a 2019 Comets Giving Day sign and sharing it on social media with the hashtag #COMETogetherUTD. Tag @UTDallasAlumni in your posts, and you will be eligible to receive $100 in bonus funds for the area of your choice.
