Darren Boruff MBA’12 has earned his second master’s degree, a Master of Science in Energy, from Texas Tech University. Boruff is a member of The University of Texas at Dallas Executive Board.

Infinity Holloway BA’19 was invited to participate with her brand Infinite Creations Crochet in the Respect My Art Showcase 2025. Holloway spent nine years as a self-taught crochet artist before this opportunity to show off her crochet fashion designs in a show.

Jeremy Vickers PhD’18 has been named chief of staff to Daniel W. Pullin, chancellor of Texas Christian University. He will oversee cabinet operations and executive communications, manage stakeholder relations and serve as Board of Trustees secretary.

Tom Bailey BS’02 has been named chief financial officer of Borland Groover in Jacksonville, Florida, the second largest independent gastroenterology practice in the U.S. Bailey has also earned the FACHE certification from the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Christian Belady MS’86, MS’90 was recently honored with the Data Center World Lifetime Achievement Award at the organization’s annual meeting in Washington, D.C. The award honors Belady for his groundbreaking work with data centers at HP, Microsoft and Digital Bridge.

Sejal Desai MBA’99 has been selected by Senior Source to be the aging and caregiving organization’s new board chair. Desai is the executive director of the Akanksha Education Fund. She specializes in nonprofit board leadership, entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility.

Anmol Agarwal BS’19, MS’20 has been recognized as a 40 under 40 honoree for Top Cyber News Magazine and a Cyber Woman of Impact by Team8. She has been recognized by the New York Stock Exchange and featured in media outlets including Yahoo Finance, Business Wire and Security magazine.

Jessica Santibanez BS’16 and Andre Southivong BS’15 have announced their engagement. The couple lives in New York City where Santibanez is a senior vice president in investment banking with Goldman Sachs and Southivong works in compliance at Bloomberg.

Rebecca Thompson PhD’18 has published the book “Passing Misery,” the true story of a young student’s trials in Nazi Germany in World War II. Thompson translated the account from French based on a self-published story by Jean Louis Mary Pasquiers and includes photos provided by Pasquiers’ family.

Maneesh Reddy Ajjuguttu MS’16 is a senior lecturer in operations and business analytics at Ohio State University. He teaches courses in operations management, international operations, and operations planning and control.

Kacie Byrd BS’10, MPA’13 has joined the Dallas law firm of McCall, Parkhurst & Horton as a public finance attorney. She will work with government entities by helping them navigate and structure financial transactions.

Madeline Hamer MS’24 earned her speech-language pathology master’s degree from UT Dallas and now works for the Methodist Health System in Dallas. Hamer is an acute care speech language pathology clinical fellow.

Melinda Wilson Andrews MS’88 received the Excellence in Teaching Award from Dallas College in 2024. She teaches in the college’s School of Education and has taught at the institution for more than 12 years.

David Joy MS’19 is a senior sales engineer at Cockroach Labs in Dallas where he helps customers and partners design, deploy and optimize data solutions. With over six years of experience in data architecture, cloud consulting and NoSQL technologies, he has a passion for solving complex business problems.

Derek Klein MS’15 was recently named vice president of marketing for The Dallas Foundation, the first community foundation in Texas. Klein will lead marketing and communications efforts to advance the foundation’s mission of inspiring charitable giving and strengthening the local community.
