For the first time since fall 2019, UT Dallas ring recipients gathered on campus for the traditional Ring Ceremony and ring dunk in the Margaret McDermott Mall.
The new scholarship program, which will support 20 UT Dallas students, is designed to increase the number of certified STEM teachers in the Dallas Independent School District.
Mercedes Johnson BA’19 and Rohit K. Shenoy BS’21 each built their new-venture experience through food startups and received $15,000 Mitchell Family Foundation Scholar Awards from the Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation.
