Help UT Dallas Students Explore the World of Work

Employers are invited to participate in the next Explore the World of Work (WoW) externship program during spring break March 14-18.
Explore the WoW provides short-term professional shadowing experiences for UT Dallas students. During their externships, students can meet experts and gain an insider’s perspective on the day-to-day work activities of their chosen fields. This program helps students discern their professional vocations, expand their career networks and make valuable connections with UT Dallas alumni and recruiters.
Employers in any industry can register for the program. Businesses are matched with undergraduate students according to academic disciplines and career interests and will host UT Dallas externs during the week of spring break 2022. This year, companies can choose to host students in-person or connect virtually if currently operating remotely.
If you or your business are interested in hosting UT Dallas externs through the Explore the WoW program, please complete the employer interest form online by Feb. 20. Orientation sessions for participating employers will be held from Feb. 21-25.
