Employee Giving

Transform Lives With a Gift to UT Dallas

UT Dallas faculty and staff provide a strong foundation for the University through their daily work and their generosity. One of the most powerful and positive ways employees can support students is by financially investing in the betterment of our University.

When you make a gift to UT Dallas schools, centers or programs, you become a member of the Trellis Society, which recognizes faculty and staff who give back to UTD.

With over 3,500 employees, your gift does more than you think. Five dollars per month multiplied by 3,500 UTD employees equals 210,000 dollars per year. Ten dollars per month multiplied by 3,500 UTD employees equals 420,000 dollars per year. Twenty dollars a month multiplied by 3,500 UTD employees equals 840,000 dollars per year.

The Trellis Society.

The Trellis Society recognizes faculty and staff who make a gift to support any area at UT Dallas during the fiscal year. This includes gifts made through the State Employee Charitable Campaign to the Academic Bridge Program or to the Callier Center for Communication Disorders.

Give to Other Organizations

The Texas Legislature established the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) in 1993. The SECC helps employees of state agencies, universities and community colleges support charities of their choice through an annual campaign featuring convenient payroll deduction.

Each year, UT Dallas joins forces with other institutions through the State Employee Charitable Campaign to raise funds for a number of local, national and international nonprofit organizations.

At UT Dallas, the State Employee Charitable Campaign runs throughout the month of October.
