Two New Members Named to University Executive Board

The University of Texas at Dallas named two new members, including a long-time financial services and technology executive and a retired UT Dallas assistant vice president, to the Executive Board at its meeting April 30.

John Dow, a certified public accountant, is chief financial officer and senior vice president of corporate operations and IT for NEC Corporation of America and is chief financial officer for NEC Enterprise Communication Technologies. With 30 years of finance and general business experience in technology, telecommunications, transportation, real estate and finance, he has also worked for American Airlines, The Associates (now Citigroup) and Catellus Development (now Prologis REIT).

Pete Bond went to work for The University of Texas at Dallas in 1988 and retired in 2020 as assistant vice president emeritus. His contributions through his leadership in purchasing, procurement management and contracts supported the rapid growth of students, faculty, staff and facilities. Bond also collaborated with the City of Richardson, DART and many vendors to ensure the needs of the University and community were addressed.

Bond currently serves as president of the UT Dallas Retiree Association.
